Meredith Salenger

Salenger was raised and born in Malibu, California. As a child she enjoyed acting in front of family and friends. Aged 8 when her mom enrolled her in her first acting course. In the film directed by John Huston Annie in which she was an unimportant role, in which she was identified as being a "singing and dance orphan". Salenger has also appeared in a range of TV commercials. Salenger's first starring role was on the Disney film The Journey of Natty Gann which starred John Cusack and Ray Wise which was the first US film to earn the gold award at the Moscow Film Festival. In addition, she was awarded "Best Actress in Drama" in the Youth in Film Awards, in recognition of her role as the fun-loving Natty. The actress also appeared in four films before turning the age of 18. One of them was A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. After that, she enrolled to Harvard for a higher education.
